I'm showing how the coupler attaches to the Mazda B2200 transmission. You can also see our adapter plate needs bolt holes and spacers. We are thinking of adding extra holes to hold the taper lock in place, we would put pins through the holes, the bolts that pull the taper lock into place will provide some stability and the pins will be extra support.

  • @davidrrrd I will speak louder next time. Sorry about that.

  • @cmsracing Thank you! :)

  • Extra pins help some, use high grade bolts. All most all the turning/twisting force is between the two tapered surfaces in the coupler. You might have some problems by using two different metals, the heat will make them expand at different rates and the steel will gall the other metal. I have used these couplers for over ten years... good luck!
