4.8" 800x480 Android Tablet with built-in GPS, 8GB flash storage, it can playback video formats up to D1 resolution, it has WiFi built-in as well, 3G could be built-in as well "in the next 3 months". Philip Zhou, Overseas Sales Manager at http://www.smit.com.cn shows it to us in this video.

They are not announcing any price at this moment, I am guessing that this Android MID could be sold for cheap, around or less than 200 dollars.

  • Did anyone else realize that the MacBook is running Windows XP?

  • can this phone make a video call using skype or ym? thanks.

  • Every android tablet i've seen so far looks really laggy? Android smartphones do better

  • not cheap

  • @panbimboconchocolate Uh, he lists the features, and the fourth one is "wi-fi", I was just surprised by the pronounciation.

  • @Skcrog86 he say 3G not wifi

  • looks cheep and lag too.....when he scrolling the menu~

  • Srsly guys... Could someone please confirm (or not) the prononciation of wifi at 00:28 ?

  • And 3-4 times less the price, lulz.

  • ... fishy.. This booth should have already had the WIFI profile on the device - seems like their trying to hide the browser performance from us. This spokesperson also doesn't seem to know very much about this device.. Also did you see when he slid out the main menu - that animation was not smooth... It seems to be priced too high for this quality.
