Wie schnell die Zeit vergeht! Vor fünf Jahren reifte die Idee für ein Etappenrennen quer über die Alpen, dessen Premiere von knapp 100 Teams in Angriff genommen wurde. 2009 steht bereits das erste kleine Jubiläum des GORE-TEX® Transalpine-Run vor der Tür, der in der kurzen Zeit seines Bestehens schon jetzt Kultstatus in der Laufszene genießt. Zu seinem fünften Geburtstag wird das Etappenrennen im nächsten Jahr auf der Westroute von Oberstdorf (GER) nach Latsch (ITA) vom 5. bis 12. September stattfinden.
