This story is about the Crosby Family whose heritage will always be about mint. St. Johns, Michigan is a small town located in Mid Michigan, also know as Mint City, USA. After 98 years of producing and distilling mint, this farm was foreclosed on and the eviction took place on Friday, August 28th, 2009 at 5:00 pm. Thank you to Matt & Jessie Yonkovit for their support and dedication to our family history and the making of this video!
What is truly sad is that it only takes one generation to undue the work and legacy that was handed to them with so much potential, sadly all too common in farm families.

It's a crime that greedy Greenstone was allowed to foreclose on this historic farm. From what I read, they wouldn't even talk to the owners or try to work out any negotiations, plus after the owners made the first payment thanks to sales from their website, their website was attacked and disabled, crippling their sales. The whole thing sounds fishy to me, just another example of our government partnering with big business to rob the little guys blind. It makes me sick.
