and you did your training with the cleaning lady i think....i am a goalie to and in this kind of situations you put your knee up and only the knee not with the foot like that...that is a red card...he saw the forward coming and he's only intention was to smash that guy face. In a game i broke a guy nose with my knee like that...almost same situation...but in that case was the guy's foult...he didn't avoid me. ...and the referee told him that next time avoid me.....No trainee learn you like that

im a goalie also for my high school team
in this vid it doesnt matter if the goalie did it intentionally or not by putting his leg up it is a form of putting the knee up so he cannot get carded. The forward should have avoided the goalie by running to either side in this case if anything happened to the goalie while his leg was up it wuld be the forwards fault. Pretty much dont mess with us keepers.=]

that is what the goalie is supposed to do. hes supposed to go up with his knee leading, but if u see he starts to fall back as he tries to make the catch, and the natural movement with your limbs is to extend them. no card, all play.

well the foward shouldnt have gone crashing into it. Thats what I hate. "The goalies an awful jerk for doing that" but the foward wouldve been the hero for taking down the goalie and hurting him even worse than he was. Btw the foward is acting a little bit, you can tell. If he was in real pain there would be blood.

goal do his job, only he doesn't want to be smashed so his foot is a little bit upper than it should be, and yes it should be his knee
