Palm Beach Reef, Family trip on the Gold Coast

Shane, Lee and Jesse Radburn take to Palm Beach Reef off Qld's Gold Coast for a bit of Spotted Mackerel fishing.
Jesse at 11 yrs old gets his first Taylor and Mackerel.
Total count for the day is 7 Mackerel, 2 Taylor and 3 Bustoffs from bites though the wire traces we were using.

@Lambycapo Considering they should be displaying flags and we were out of the main area and the fact the video at that point was sped up and we were doing about 6 knotts and three of us were constantly looking around I'd say the chances of us running over a spear fisherman that wasn't in the area would be pretty low.

I'd like to see the statistics of boats trolling vs spearfisherment deaths too.

@maccatuna1979 I'll be down there on a pro boat at 3.30am. 27/12/2010. He landed 94 today so lets hope they are on again tomorrow. Early season this year and a good one at that.
