He was a great coach for the Pens and the funny thing is, is that he led them to the finals the year before and was doing decently the next year and just got fired with out any know how of what was going on.

well , we would of never go into the playoffs without getting rid of Therrien.& staal and fleury are playing really good right now .but i do agree with the Malone thing .

dude... i cant believe he fucked up soo bad that his own team and management kicked his ass out... im so sad.. how can a man lead his team to the stanely cup finals all the way to the end and then crash at the end.. pisses me off.. i mean.. you gotta do whatchu gotta do... i mean if the team aint winning and is on sum long term loosing streaks.. something's gotta give.. plus crosby as captain should also be question... well.... the show must go on.. and i must be devoted as a pens fan..yay......

I can go on and on about Shero, I'll admit I didn't like Therrien's Juggling of the lines of his dump and chase, cycling system, it did get the job done last year and the year before.... But if you want to blame anyone on this season alone, blame the gm. It seems that he deliberatly made bad moves that cost Therrien his job. It wasnt Therriens fault plus all the injuries didnt help.

I agree 100% Ray Shero is the one who should be fired. After he made that deal for Hossa everything fell apart for Shero. He passed up on Conklin for a smaller amount than what he paid Sabourin, he did not put any kind of offer on the table for Malone and he meant a hell of alot to this team, this city, and his teammates. Way overpaid Jordan Staal and Fleury, Jagr would have played on Crosby's wing but shero gave him a mere "courtesy call" and thats it, Ray shero is going to ruin this team.
