SC 2 What is macro - noob tutorials

The most important skill in SC 2 is your macro. So far, I have talked alot about your economy and always always always building workers. That is because without workers you don't have minerals and you can't build!

Macro means "big" or "large" or just "everything." Macro is the most basic skill that every player should master! Macro in SC 2 is a term used to describe getting the most of everything you can. In the early game, macro is really focused on worker production so that later on in the game you can support lots of macro of units (building lots of units) and upgrades. The more you "macro" the more you can afford and the bigger and better army you can get compared to your opponent. The only weakness of macro is when a) your opponent has better macro or b) your oppoenent does some quicky cheesey all in rush and you did too much economic macro for too long.
