  • @0PERAT0RPLEASE It's John 'Nobby' Dalton. Sunny Afternoon was released after Pete Quaife had an accident which put him out of commission till, if I remember correctly, '67.

  • @connoisseurnic AND they did the same with a lot of the Ready Steady Go! episodes... horrible. Almost a decade of musical treasures lost forever.

  • Who's the chap on bass here? It does not look like Pete Quaife.

  • My god, where did you get this clip from!!!! There is hardly anything left from TOTP in the 60s and this is an absolute gem. Needs to be wrapped in cotton wool! Thanks for posting.

  • @connoisseurnic They did the same to Dr Who as well :( at least it wasn't quite so bad with Dr Who - there are still 100+ episodes left from the sixties as opposed to 4 for TOTP up to 1977. Disgraceful. The BBC should be ashamed of themselves for depleting history.

  • Top of the Pops 1966.

95% of Top of the Pops from the sixties have been degaussed by the BBC in London, England.

    The BBC are a joke.
