All India Radio - Waukaringa (full version)

This is the full version of the 'Waukaringa' and includes super-8 footage lost over the years. Waukaringa is a ghost town deep in the South Australian desert. I traveled there with some friends in the late 80's, an unforgettable dream-like journey which remained ingrained in our psyche for a long time afterwards. Where I live you can hike through rolling hills to reach a truck like the one at 0:18 but a tree has grown where the engine used to be. It's a really cool sight to see.
