  • who r the stupid 4 ppl that hate this. . this guy is on level i cnt evn c yet. . god help let me b this good soon

  • 左足のクラーベとハイハットで、すでに5-wayになってしまってるのでは…?

  • I got #2 down pat and now im working on #3!!!

  • mmm took me a long time to understand that is useless trying to do this if you don´t know first how to play at least the basic rythms of congas, or timbal, or bongoes... and at least having mastered songo basic, samba basic and jazz basic

  • @YanusDV THATS THE FUCKIN ANSWER MAN !!! :D

  • Also, although not as known, is a rythmic system of Hindu music called Konnokol (or something like that), a great rythm system that John Mclaughlin has made it more well known (learned from his exchange with Indian musicians). Danny Carey too said that his time practicing with Aloke Dutta (a very well known indian percussionist and tabla player) made him improve on his rythmic style and technique and on executing polyrythms with far more effectiveness.

  • Akira's the best, and he's right, many afro-cuban rythms are polyrythmic, that's why latin jazz drummers that mostly base around those kind of rythms also have (generally) great independence. Another great example: Horacio "El Negro" Hernandez. Great two drummers!

  • wow, that was easy

  • I'll go study cuban rhythms first, then I'll go akira jimbo's style
