@fulani31: Papia means speak in CV creole, but the word comes from archaic Portuguese (papiar = falar=hablar). By the way I was in Curacao 3 months ago, and was amazed with the similarities papiamentu has with our CV creole. The sad thing is that most of them deny their African heritage.

@xilliano E sey ta paso cabo verdean creole ( loke nan ta pp na Cabo Verde) ta hopi similar cu papiamento y papiamentu. Paar palabra ta hasta mesun cos scirbi.
