@elitewarsaw Since Plyos increase Power should I feel sore after a good plyo workout

@lordvoldemort578 Plyometrics should be done in the lower rep ranges, generally between 1 & 3 reps per set. How much volume depends on the athlete and entire program. I wouldn't recommend that many jumps per set if your goal is to improve power. I like the sprints but would suggest backing the jumps down to 3-8 sets of 2 jumps. Also, performing depth jumps from a box over 12" is asking for injury.

@elitewarsaw 3x10 box jumps
3x10 depth jumps
6x20 yard sprints
4x40 yard sprints
1x50yard sprint
What do you think of that? Mixed with some power cleans and deadlifts or something

@lordvoldemort578 They are a great tool along with a solid complete strength and conditioning program.

@elitewarsaw thankyou very much for replying. im a soccer player, so is there any kind of workout you could advice, much appreciated.

@oliliburd A solid strength foundation is the most important aspect of speed. Olympic sprinters are very strong athletes throughout their entire bodies. Maurice Green bench pressed 365# at a body weight of 180#.
If you combine plyometric training with strength your speed can improve dramatically.
