Doordarshan 80s and 90s - purani yaadei

I, Viral Shah, found this video in my old collection. I still remember those days when I was a kid and every weekend used to sit near by TV watching the Doordarshan (had no other option those days) - few colourfull strips with a sharp whistling noise on the screen for a while and than this digital clock used to come up.
Ramayana and Mahabharat on sunday morning... than Chandrakanta and Alif-laila on every monday evening at 9:30, Malgudy days... Shaktiman on Saturday noon.
How can I forget these funny advertisement, which was being broadcast longer than the actual serial.
Golden days of childhood.... missing those days...

Hey it actually reminded of my good old days. They were so good and easy going. The ads were so pure, sensible and conveying the right information about the products unlike today's ads. Kaha gaye woh din. Then things were so simple. I miss my childhood days.

All those people, ads and sounds look like lost old friends. I wonder where all those wonderful people would be who featured in these ads. Thank god, was alone in office, so nobody could see my tears. Isn't it cruel to remind of those wonderful, old memories, which remind of those easy-going times!!! Just keep on doing more such cruelties...
