Talks from the conference "The River Runs Through It:
Impact of Hanford on the Columbia" given October 3, 1998 in Vancouver, WA.
Speakers include Greg DeBruler, Columbia River United; Susan Gordon, Alliance for Nuclear Accountability; Merilyn Reeves, League of Women Voters, and Chair, Hanford Advisory Board; Paige Levin, Heart of America Northwest; Paige Knight, Hanford Watch; Casey Ruud, Hanford Whistleblower; Tom Carpenter, Government Accountability Project
What blows me away is that the biggest argument that anyone could use has not even been mentioned..the Columbia River is MOVING...IT IS A RIVER...IT IS GOING TO REACH THE OCEAN.!

Why is it that useless pointless absurdities are noticed but people who are crying out about the destruction of the environment and humans and animals are practically unnoticed? Something this deeply wrong in this world. Goddammit, I'm loosing faith that my grandchildren will grow up in a better world than I have, BECAUSE the people of my age chose to exploit anything and everything without any respect for the environment, for animals, for human beings.
