Hey everyone, firstly I'd like to apologise for not getting back to everyone who has asked me a question or left a private message for me in the last couple of months! Apart from being absolutely rubbish at remembering to visit my youtube account, life's been pretty hectic lately and I haven't had the chance to reply!

They're amazing!! Did David Tennant sign his portrait? looks like his autpgraph. I'm trying to learn how to draw realistic like that. I'm playing around with shading techniques. It's not that difficult getting the hang of it. hair, however, that's VERY challenging.

Hiya, thank you. Yes David did sign his portrait, he was very complimentary about my drawing and he is such a nice guy!

You're right about hair, it can be a huge challenge!! ...That's why when I had Patrick Stewart to draw it was fantastic!! lol. Good luck with it! =)

Incredible. We draw portraits in the same style, however yours are much better =p 'tis very difficult for me to capture the lips perfectly and also capture emotions well. They look like people, but they look like they are properly zogged out an have no emotions.

I personally use a 4B pencil for all of my portrait drawings. I only ever do them inside school though.

Emotions can be extremely difficult to capture in a drawing, it can sometimes take me a few attempts to get the exact look I'm after, which is really frustrating as I hate erasing something I have spent ages drawing!! But then if I don't do that I will never be happy enough with the drawing lol.

I'm not sure to be honest lol, I think because her face has a lot of character, and very defined features. I drew her as a commission for someone though.

Their amazing ! I personally hate it when people say drawing portraits isn't art, and is a waste of time because you can take a photograph, it IS ART, , its not about the results but the skill it takes to get there. and you my friend have tons. (:!

Loved your drawings Kaylee. I draw too. I've drawn David Tennant recently. I love blk and wht drawings the best. I feel a person can get the most out of light and dark shadows. Pencil drawings are my favorite. I'm trying to find more time to do them. I've got 3 children and they keep me busy. I love to draw horses as well.
