•EARTH BLADE•
(EDGE-AXE-REMOVE SOD-TRENCH-HOE)
(available @ central landscape and ebay "sod cutter")
PATENT PENDING
Although cutting sod manually is never an easy task, using this tool is better than using a shovel. An EARTH BLADE is a good sod cutter because the blade is guided by you and the rollers, ensuring a consistent elevation. Why not use the power in your leg and "kick" out the sod as apposed to bending over with a shovel to chop it out causing more wear on your body in the long run. There are many features that make this tool a good sod cutter, here are a few.
1.It's a multi tool
2.Made in the USA
3.Light weight easy to transport
4.One handle design allows user to get up close to fences
5.Comfort(Grip,Kickstand)
6.Less expensive than competitors
7.Double edged blade
8.1/4" frame & grade 8 bolts
A manual sod cutter like an EARTH BLADE is an essential tool for any landscaper. Sure there are machines that make sod removal quicker and easier, but these machines have their limitations. As mentioned above, one limitation is when your trying to cut up close to a foundation or fence. Sod cutters with two handles prohibit the user to remove sod in this situation, because one of the handles will damage the fence or house if it hits or drags along while cutting(preventing a complete cut). Another limitation of bigger equipment is simply the fact of unloading and reloading. When doing smaller repairs or tear outs EARTH BLADE is a sod cutter that you should add to your arsenal.
