Musician Muntu Valdo plays what has been dubbed "Sawa blues", so named because he hails from the Sawa community of Cameroon's coastal region.
He says his new album, The One and The Many, perfectly describes his act, as he performs solo on stage but with the sound of a big band.
With a guitar in hand, a harmonica at his lips and a deck of pedals - he calls them his "sorcerers" - at his feet, he told the BBC's Network Africa programme about his magic formula.
Great stuff man! Keep it up!
