Vehicles continue to scurry across the tracks ahead of the southbound 213, even after the crossing arms drop down. We need Operation Lifesaver down here.
The locomotives appear to have a rather rough ride across the junction where the 2 tracks become 1. NS maintenance crews seem to work on that switch a lot. I wonder if the Town of Grover should be concerned about this.
There's some interesting cargo here, maybe truck or trailer chassis.
An ex-Conrail (you can tell by the horn, I think it's a Leslie R3SL) EMD SD60M leads the locomotive consist. It's followed by an ex-Union Pacific (now HLCX) SD60, and bringing up the rear is a Dash 9 40-CW. This train must have been at least 2 miles long.
Wow, long time ago, I saw a train coming and this guy went around the gates and nearly got smashed by a train.
