@jam3z07 Easy....cos the injected black 202 was so old and outdated, did the job just fine but mainly due to tightening emission laws it had to get the ass.. a shame holden didn't get onto toyota for motors during the late 80s and 90's ie, 1-2jz series sixes and the uz series alloy V8s would have been so sweet.

the ecotec was pretty much a retuned and very mildly modded 3.8 from othe VN, which in turn was sourced from Buick

i forgot to mention: if you wanna build a quick car with a straight 6 in it on a **budget**, go with holdens black 202, or convert the blue 202 to fuel injection. they're just as strong as the rice-built RB30

im not a very big fan of the VL turbo, but they are still holdens, in a way. why didnt holden keep the 3.3L EFI VK injected motor and bolt on a turbo instead of using the RB30 nissan skyline motor??? i like aussie cars with "Aussie" motors.
