This hidden bridge in Byram, Mississippi is popular place in town. I heard a rumor that this bridge was haunted and decided to go there myself. The legend is that an 18-wheeler truck tried to cross it in the early 80s when this bridge was the only way to cross the Perl River. Some sources say that the driver got stuck on the bride and called for help, others say that he crashed and died at the bottom of the rive and his ghost still haunts the area. Adding to the mystery is that the bridge was supposedly built by German prisoners of war after World War II. I wanted to give the viewers a feel for what it felt like to be around it while making it a visually appealing as possible.
there was a murder , in the 80s, they found a man's nude body that had been thrown off the bridge, rumors were that it was all a part of a "love-triangle" situation, the "truck story" is the reason the bridge was shut down to vehicles, the weight of the truck damaged the suspension, we used to drive out to the middle of the bridge and slam on the brakes to feel the bridge actually swing when I was a teenager, in the 80s, some research may uncover more details
