I'm still in a bit of shock. My heart goes out to Amy's family and close friends. I didn't know her. I only met her once, but I was very impressed with what I saw. She a very sweet and nice girl. She was polite, talented and funny. I didn't see any of the antics that were highlighted in the media. All I saw was an extremely talented singer-songwriter, who I admired for her courage to put her pain and heartache out there via her music. She will be missed.
This is a clip of an interview I did with her in 2007 at Lollapalooza in Chicago. Unfortunately the sound malfunctioned. So this video is a combination of that interview and the most befitting song I could think to accompany it.
