Shortly after the cataclysmic earthquake in Japan, Qinetiq North America in Waltham shipped some of its RC robots to help in the radioactive Fukushima nuclear power plant. Company reps demo the robots and talk about their uses.

  • This stuff is cool, but when are we gonna start using giant robots? I say it's time Japan spent some more focus on R&D for America and comes out with giant robot schematics for America that are cheap to build and very effective. I mean come on Japan, America is coming out with lasers on its Naval ships, what are you gonna bring to the table when WW3 hits? France at least gave us the statue of liberty which served its purpose in ghost busters.
