The selfmade lighting system of my Aperture Casemod in Action. It consists of 44 LEDs in 3 custom LED strips and the frontpanel connected to an Arduino USB Board to control everything by software. Mad props to my man Amblin for writing the program that makes all this possible!

  • Great video man, Love the lights!!! Read your whole worklog on this setup and I am amazed at the detail you put in, as well as the time and effort.

You should sell these lights, I know I'd buy them in a heart beat.

  • I propably would, if it wasn't so damn much work to build them and get them working ;)

  • DUDE this is one of the best looking cases I've ever seen. It's so well done it looks like it's a company manufactured case. I went to your work in progress log page and was just blown away with all it took to do that. If I saw that case on a website for sale I would have instantly bought it. What I like about it is that it's elegant, classy, cool, and sci-fi at the same time. You didn't go over the top with the design like a lot of people do. A+++ job.

  • Could you share program (source?) and arduino source? looking into making something similiar, but wondering how he is sending the stuff over usb so fast.

  • Cave Johnson's PC

  • I'm looking at following your work log to build one of these myself, if you wouldn't mind. Could we get in email contact so I can get more details about it?

  • Marry me please

  • Specs? Also, great work :D

  • 4:47 holy crap :D no way

i totally wanted on of theses

  • Could I pay you to make me one? >.>

  • I would buy one as well..!!

Looks awesome, great work man! :)

  • I saw a picture, and I thought, damn that's sleek looking. I watched the video, I was sold instantly.

Honestly, if you ever were to sell these cases, I'd buy one instantly.

    Awesome job man, awesome job.
