  • OOPS! He got it wrong at 4:49...."This very day from school Yum Yum, In point of fact this afternoon." should actually be "They'll vow their pact extremely soon, In point of fact this afternoon." You can hear Pooh Bah choke off a bit when he realizes his mistake, but he makes a great comeback. Bravo!

  • @lhrlyc - I know whereof you speak. The two allusions to math in the first verse throw me just about every time. The chorus did a great job, they sang the words that I sang no matter what. Getting through that song was always a great relief. I'm glad it was early in the show.

    I found that the easiest patter song is the Nightmare Song from Iolanthe. For some reason, that came easy and has stayed with me (even now, about 20 years after that show came to a close.)

  • @donconhar --- doesn't it just? I sang the second part of the first verse of the major general's patter song twice on the first night of pirates ....
