If you want to listen to secular music of that times, why not just listen Vivaldi? And don't anyone dare to "flame" me because of what I just said, as if I had committed some sort of "sacrilège". Bach was and is the Master, but even in his secular compositions there is something "heavy" that reminds me of his theological soundness. He couldn't get rid of it. He was a church musician.
