PBR Wi-Fi Match 239: Vs. Loli

"Darkrai Diarrhea, Pt. 2"

Ah yes, this is the second battle with this Loli person. If you haven't already, watch Match 238; that is the first battle with Loli.

I obviously have a different pass in this battle. I wasn't sure if Electrode would KO the two Darkrai, as its Attack stat, even with maximum Attack EVs and a positive Attack nature, is medicore. Well, to my surprise, BOTH Darkrais were OHKO'd on the first turn, while Drifblim just levitated there. I wish I could have seen the look on my opponent's face when that happened.

Next, they sent out Darkrai #3 and Kyogre -- the same two sent out in the previous battle. So they used all four of the same Pokémon from the previous battle in this one. I sent out Golduck next, as I wasn't sure if that Kyogre was Choice Scarfed. Golduck dodged the Dark Void, but Drifblim unfortunately did not. However, I managed to put Kyogre to sleep, so I would be able to safely bring in Primeape.

Primeape is one of Darkrai's worst nightmares -- it can OHKO Darkrai with Close Combat, and it has Vital Spirit, making it immune to Dark Void. I chose to attack Kyogre first, as it was more of a threat than Darkrai. Close Combat almost OHKO'd it. The next turn, I ended up taking out Darkrai anyway, but Kyogre woke up and took out Primeape with Hydro Pump. However, Golduck finished Kyogre off with an Ice Beam.

Well, there you have it. I simply cannot respect anyone who not only abuses Ubers, but spams moves like Dark Void over and over again. I have to admit, I love beating people like this.

Electrode (Shortfuse), Drifblim (Tempest), Golduck (Dr.Quack), and Primeape (Berserker).

The opponent used:
Darkrai, Darkrai, Darkrai, and Kyogre.
