Story plot:
Due to a strictly confidential mission, Hou Feng (侯风) had to lie to his lover, Yue Xiang (月香), that he'd envolved in a new relationship and left her to a far-away land. Later, Yue Xiang discovered the mission and decided to secretly take over it for him. Hou Feng came to save her but it was too late. As reading the letter she had left, Hou Feng realized in grief that Yue Xiang had never stopped loving him, even after she died.
The song is about Yue Xiang's confidence after Hou Feng left. Everynight she kept looking for him under half the moon. Her heart is with him til the end of the earth - 到天涯海角
