  • If you are getting fret buzz and playing directly behind the fret, I suggest you look into getting your bass setup.

  • Hi Brother,

I think this was very helpful. I'm learning the numbers so the volume of the bass is fine. I appreciated the numbers. Be blessed. Pastor jeff

  • Thanks Pastor Jeff, I appreciate the comments.

  • You are correct. Technically you can do anything you want as long as it makes sense and you land back on the one

  • Nice bro! By the way your voice reminds me of Puff Daddy's.

  • hello torch7 i just want to know about sean dvd and when its coming out.email peter43@hotmail.co.uk

  • @Torch7

actually, the best place to fret is about 1/3 of the space behind the fret itself, not right behind it. Otherwise the break in the string isn't strong enough, therefore causing fret buzz depending on the dynamics in your right (plucking) hand

  • @XxDisciple666xX not a scrub, actually a professional Christian musician who plays for thousands of people in 3 services every week and I know that playing directly on the frets causes buzz. Metal vibrating on metal makes noise but you can play just slighty behind the fret and still have great intonation with considerably less fret buzz :)

  • @subsonicbassist scrub
