I hope so. That's why I'm not trying to bad-mouth Gampo Abbey outright. It wouldn't be fair of me to do that based on my experience with a few people. I still have to believe for most people, going there would be helpful. :) Just my own bad karma I suppose.

you probably met new monks, and or nuns that are not as far into the practice and still caught up in their shenpa!

I've met Buddhists from all over and they're A1 people, but wishing for others not to suffer while being a cause of their suffering is so hypocritical.
I assume Chodron doesn't know what her staff did, because their behavior was unacceptable, but as the #1, she SHOULD know.
If you plan to visit the Abbey, I hope your experience is a good one. It probably will be wonderful;.I can't see the Abbey even existing unless my experience was a unique one.
