You can't go wrong with Carolan ! - Have you tried some of his other work? Receipt for drinking, the concerto - they would suit similar "light touch" arrangement and would also suit a hammer dulcimer / guitar pairing. On another note altogether - try typing "Bardou" into the search engine and listen to 2 Frenchmen having a go. Let me know what you think - I reckon you might like them!
