@IWEEW Religion is based on nonsense, that is the common sense we need. I'm not angry with all religious people, but I wouldn't give you a plug nickel for their religion. Cigarettes comfort people, that doesn't make them healthful. If you're trying to moderate nonsense, I'm the wrong target of your plea.

@dwolfcoach "I don't believe in God, but I'm not mad at Him" isn't meant to be taken EXACTLY as it was said. Her point is that she's an atheist but isn't hostile to religion like most atheists. It's really not that hard to figure out. You just need common sense.

Psst, how can you get the appeal of pure fiction w/ any degree of integrity? She's not a reasonable voice, she's a moderating voice that allows the complete lack of integrity of faith to get a free pass. She might as well be a theist!

sometimes they actually do. for example In the middle ages Sweden invaded Russia to convert or kill everyone they could find, because the russians were orthodox and sweden was catholic(back then).
In the 1600s a 30 year long war broke out beetween catholic and protestant Europe.
