Hi all. A quick letter from neighbourhood watch and Gary Alexander Bourne (representative for Bodnant Estate and area)

Just to do a follow up to previous letter from me. As I noticed the letter sent to me, there was only a web address (not much good if you can't get Internet) I've looked up the telephone number and it is Winter Fuel Payments 0845 915 1515 8.30am to 4.30pm. If you have already received the payment in the past, you should be on the list. But as it is £25 a time it is worth a phone call to make sure.
The Met Office have notified the Department for Work and Pensions that 1 period of very cold weather has occurred in the LL15-19, 22, 26-32 postcode areas between 1 November 2009 and 7 January 2010, triggering a Cold Weather Payment.

Other areas I'm working on include new extra large Blue wheely bins. For those who are filling up the smaller sized ones regularly. So if you are struggling with space, let them know.

Anyone who hasn't registered to vote. Whether or not you wish to actually vote. It does mean you can prove who and where you are for things like bank loans etc. I have forms to fill in and they are simply dropped off to Ty Nant. After that it is possible to register for postal voting.

A bit of good news. Dial-a-ride I have heard is to continue. Thank you to all who 'protested' to stay.
