What is interesting is that a lot of the people who are against flouride in water are against any kind of government regulation, including regulation of water and air quality, because they think it is too much government.

Yet, if you are so concerned about a chemical in water that scientists agree does no harm in the water, why aren't you concerned about every other chemical in the air and water, and why do you think that business should continue to burn coal, which releases chemicals?

@funkmasterfive To elaborate further, I won't take two spoonfulls of sodium flouride, because I never argued in favor of doing so, but I will drink a few cups of water--which is what I argued in favor of--just as I have done every day of my life, and I will keep commenting every day until I die when I'm 85 years old because of flouride in my water supply poisioning.

Fluoride is in every insecticide - it's poison - everyday people get it in their toothpaste and water. When you brush your teeth with fluoride toothpaste it gets into your system through sublingual (under the tongue capularies). It is the same as drinking it. We are being poisoned. It destroys brain tissue, causes cancer, etc. But it also creates passivity.

The EPA still allows up to 4.00 parts per million (ppm) of fluoride in tap water before screaming foul play. There are no laws or regulations in place to prevent the amount of fluoride in tap water going over 0.7 ppm. It was the HHS that made the recommendation to lower it but that isn't law. Some people are getting 4.00 ppm of fluoride in their tap water in the USA, with no laws preventing that level.

it is a hazardous waste product that comes from 4 industries that has no homeopathic benefits whatsoever to the human body. The Russians used it in the gulags after they discovered it quelled people's thoughts into being submissive. Then the nazi's used it in the ghettos to control the JEwish people.

There are hundreds of peer-reviewed articles about the effects of fluoride on the brain, bones and teeth. Why would you ask a dentist about fluoride instead of a chemist or biologist? Ask someone who has studied the effects of fluoride on animals. The EPA just recently lowered the allowable fluoride from 1.2ppm to 0.7ppm. Will they come out in another 30 years and admit it's still too high and they need to lower it again? Check Google scholar for more info and peer-reviewed documentation.
