The University of Akron Robotics team headed to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida to take on 28 other schools late in May in the Lunar Robotics Mining Competition. Collecting 0.6 kg of Lunar Regolith with their mining robot, team PiRATE took 5th place Honorable Mention.
