Yeah, I never had this game but a friend of mine rented it one time. He complained big time ab out the skateboarder. One of his comments is "What is he riding? A hoverboard?!" Keep in mind this was back in 1990 when Back to the Future Parts II and III were fresh in peoples' minds, and the guy's brother tried to make a hoverboard (which didn't work) by ripping off the wheels of one of his old boards and using kitchen magnets (the wheels went on a custom skateboard he made).

It's funny how games like Paperboy can be obtained digitally now. Soon, all newspapers will be digital, leaving Paperboy out of a job. How ironic that the technology that brought us a game about Paperboys will eliminate Paperboys... and Papermen.
