This video shows a student project assignment for Computer Human Interaction (CHI) course taught by Dr. Gary D. Boetticher at the University of Houston - Clear Lake (UHCL). In this video Mr. Mark Sheppard applies two infrared (IR) lights along with two Wiimotes to emulate a theremin. A theremin is a musical instrument that is normally played by waving one's arms near two metal rods.
