This stitch creates a thermal fabric that has even squares that is ideal for cross stitching. Use a larger hook than recommended on the yarn label for less curling and a softer drape.

Are you asking if you can crochtet macrame cord?? you can crochet with any stringed fiber. You just need to fins a hook big enough.

I am left handed and not really sure what I am doing wrong. But every time I try to do it my stitches end up decreasing by one in every row. What am I doing wrong? Is it because I am left handed? I don't know. But thank you for the video it was very informative and easy to follow.

@MsMegaSkittles as many as you need. The chain should be as long as the width you want your blanket to be. But for a blanket, you will need a cabled hook.
