Well, maybe you can count Amuro's Dijeh as a strong mech for the show? Although it is just an advanced and customized version of Gelgoog, it is still Amuro's main MS for this war (if you don't count Amuro's semi-official Zeta Plus A1 shown in other stories).

Actually, they plan to remake the First Gundam show based on "MSG: The Origin" manga series that has some significant differences from the original anime, probably in OVA format.

Did they only remade Z Gundam? I like how the opening shows that Amuro and Char fighting in the same team, but Amuro left the team without even getting in a strong mech
