  • does your left monitor stretch???

  • @vl199 Yes, if you have 2 monitors hith different resulotion, like in the video (1920x1080/1280x1024), then both monitors will have theminimum resolution resolution (1280x1024)

Sorry if you don't understand, i don't speak too much english.

  • @CiOSmedia i understood! now it all makes sense in my head, that's why I get that 2560res! But anyway I gave up to "unstretch" the monitor. But did you search if there is another way to setup the eyefinity? I mean, after all the software could just add the horizontal pixels of both displays (1920 + 1280) and stick with the minimum vertical pixels (1024). you could get a display resolution of 3200x1280 and the center wouldn't be that annoying blind spot between the monitors!

  • @vl199 I'll try to search someting for that. Is not a bad idea. There are some games that you can put in windowed mode and later with me mouse resize the window over the 2 monitors to have the image where you want and without streching the monitor. The only problem is that like that you can't play on fullscreen mode.

  • anyone know how to do this with NVIDA 8600GTS

  • tototototototootot wtf hardriev what some bug??? ......

  • ima do this with a 6670 and 2 1600x900 monitors

  • very good and useful thanks

  • @yannisanto Well, i don't know what can be the problem...try to go to the ATI CCC, then clic on "Common Display Tasks" and then "Detect Displays", also look that both monitors are perfectly connected and if they have multiple inputs make sure they're properly configured (Source). You could also try to use another kind of cable, if i'm not wrong your display supports HDMI, DVI and VGA (D-Sub).

  • @CiOSmedia Firstly thanks for your reply :) The card I am using is Ati Radeon HD 6950. This card has 2 DVI exports (like yours I guess). When I connect the first DVI export from the graphic card to the monitor (VGA), the monitor works. When I do the same with the second DVI export from the card to the 2nd Monitor (VGA) nothing happens.. :( I assume that somehow the system should detect the second monitor but it wont... Your english are fine. I am from Athens.
