Haddiscoe used to have two stations, low & high, the platform on this very short film, might of been used for the line to link the main line from Great Yarmouth to Beccies & Ipswich / London ?
as you went east, the line used to branch off towards beccles. On the opposite side is haddicoe high level station - now privately owned - the beccles to yarmouth line closed in 1959 went over the lowestoft to norwich line. So a Norwich train could go to Beccles, and another branch on the other side could take a train up to the beccle-yarmouth line. Haddiscoe Junction, the Signal Box ended up at the Science Museum for a some years before ending up on a railway museum site in essex.
There's every chance that these were goods sidings. Nearly every pokey little station had these to take away and drop off local produce and bring in supplies. You can see where these were at places like Brundall as they have little car parks there now.
