Robin, I have the sahih al buhkari and the sahih al muslims in original Arabic and in the English translation by Muhammed Muhsin Khan and this man is telling the truth.

In addition to below, if you've ever read the Hadith you'd realize Jizya was meant as a form of extortion from the start - Muslim 19:4294 Muhammed says:"If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya... If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah's help and fight them"" - sounds like every 'extortion racket' I've ever heard of. Of course, what does one expect from a bride stealing (From his own son), 6 year old marrying (!!!), backstabbing (Khyber) warlord?!

I'm about to puke! Sura 9:29 SPELLS OUT that Jizya is collected "so that they will feel subjecated & subdued". The Copts of Egypt have been murdered & persecuted for generations. The Christians of Gaza have been murdered, libraries burned down. National Geographic ran a story that so many Christians have fled Bethlehem since the PA was given control that we may see the birthplace of JESUS become CHRISTIAN FREE IN OUR LIFETIME! & 1 MILLION JEWS were expelled from Arab nations in the late 40s

Saudi Wahhabism was a radicalist movement which started in the 17th/18th Century. Why do you cite their interpretation when they represent (if even) 5% of Muslims?
Convert or die, huh? Is that why the Second Golden Age of Judaism was in Muslim Spain? Because Muslims forced the Jews to pay heavy taxes or to die if they didn't convert? Is that why there are still strong Christian communities in Egypt and Palestine today?
