ABOUT THIS VIDEO

A Delta Airlines Boeing 757-200 arrives at and later departs from Manchester Airport via runway 23R.

As the plane arrives you'll notice a beautiful effect trailing behind the wings and if you look closely at the cockpit windows prior to departure you can see the Captain waving to the onlookers.

  • delta uses 763s to manchester now not 752

  • @dskxalive Delta use a 767 and 757 at the moment. This video was taken in to 2009 anyway.

  • Is he letting out the emergency fuel dump?

  • No, what you're seeing are wing vortices - more visible than usual because of moisture coming off the wings. An airline would only ever dump fuel in an emergency situation.

  • @scaryplane yes okay but that was an NWA aircraft it had NW on the rego

  • @scaryplane hahaha TWA merged with American Airlines, and the number said NW which means NWA (North Western Airlines) they merged with Delta you got it all wrong buddy!
