I'll tell you what the hell Cantrell thinking. He wasn't looking for a Layne replacement talent search. He was looking for someone who can a) sing b) harmonize with him. If you had done your research you would have known he went through so many different singers throughout 05-06 to see who meshed well with AIC. And also this wasn't just Jerry's desicion the entire group had a say. So move on, and let the legacy keep going.

the band lived and lives for these kind of awesome beautiful moments were they play the sad song and watch the audience sing it right back, ive even got an mp3 of this just to listen to it, fucking amazing.

I think this guy makes Alice in Chains sound like the band they are.. nobody can replace Layne Staley.. but the band still is keeping its personality with this guy.. and the harmonics with Jerry are still amazing... long life Alice in chains, I think that's what Layne would have like or?

i thought i'd check this other singer out and i say hell no on this song. this is laynes song it's just not right they should have retired this one & god am. now i'm crying and pissed and feel guilty for even checkin this out. rip layne you're gone but so not forgotten.

horrible. what a joke. no emotion, no substance - just a copy on a flat piece of glossy paper. I could accept if they just did new songs, but Layne makes anyone look bad that tries to sing any song that he sang. Keep trying to convince yourselves that this is good and will work, it will not. Layne gave emotion that people could feel, there is none here. I love Jerry, but how could he let someone else sing songs like nutshell or junkhead? just go listen to Layne after this and try to dispute me.

To all you haters would you have rather had Alice in Chains do a cheesy reality show to find a new singer. I just saw them in Camden NJ and they were unbelievable. Layne is gone RIP but Alice stills lives thank god...

I think all this shit about DuVall is pissing the band off. None of them say "Oh my god he sounds like Layne" All of them say "...He sounds like William" In interviews they say that if they wanted someone who sounded like Layne they could of done a contest, or whatever.. But my point is, if any of you hate William, then why waste your ever-so-precious time watching new Alice videos? If you don't like them, don't listen to them, pretty fucking simple.
