    well duh. if i was never exposed to lady gaga my odds of ever listening to her music would be lessened greatly. that doesn't mean i was "tricked" by the media into liking her. there has to be substance behind her in order for her to be so popular. lady gaga wouldn't have lasted this long in pop culture if people only liked her because she's weird.
