Konkani poet Shashikant Punaji introduces his poem 'Mhozo Ganv'. In it he expresses the impact of urbanisation on the Goan village, and how all that has stopped. "Somebody has buried a time-bomb in my village..." The poetry is in the Pernem dialect of Konkani. The poet writes in Konkani, but takes the trouble to explain his work in English here.

  • Most of the problems in Goa are because of the hindus. RSS and Shiv Sena who are morons want to cause enmity against the Catholics. The author of this poem is an other kudoh moron, unable to realize the real issues faced by Goa.
