  • Meh, virtualbox. Id rather wait for netflix to run natively. Windows sucks, and I refuse to waste hard drive space on it.

  • also ive been trying to get my hands on a boot disk for xp or greater any ideas on where to get one for free, where did you get yours?

  • so did you use a virtual machine

  • @linuxrobotdude

My machine is similar to yours, and mine works fine - however I use vmware and its' vmware tools. Can view without any problems.

I just ended up getting a roku, anyway, since I prefer watching tv/movies on my tv, and not computer. Any files on the linux machine I serve to the roku and still watch in the living room.

  • It works fine on a modern CPU but netflix in virtual box doesn't work well for me on my Athlon 64 X2 2.1 GHz. It is about 4 years old so I'm not complaining, just pointing it out.
