Tigers are gorgeous animals. No wonder it's one of the world's favorite creatures. The beautiful striped pattern, the indescribeable ferocity. They are truly amazing. This is a slideshow of pictures of tigers. Enjoy!
Quick Facts:
1. The tiger is the largest feline on Earth, with the siberian subspecies exceeding 13 feet in length and reaching over 660 pounds!
2. The siberian tiger is the largest subspecies of panthera tigris, and the lightest in color as well. They have the thickest coats of any tiger, as they inhabit the frozen lands of Russia.
3. Ironically, the sumatran tiger, which is the smallest subspecies of panthera tigris, is also the darkest in color. They're also known to be the most aggresive.
