@NitrousMouse Its not about how much money, its about whats the next best thing to do when you're at that level. It wasnt till a little over 10years ago that Supra's were the first cars to race bikes on the street, and actually win. What was next? 1000+hp cars racing modded bikes with even greater power/weight.

@kayu38 google your state's laws. Here drag radials are street legal, so as long as there is tread of some kind.

@rotor13 Some tracks have street nights that allow any street legal cars and bikes to run together. All I know is slower than 10.00 secs, pump gas only, and full exhaust I think.

@NitrousMouse The bike still has weight:power, aerodynamics on that supra. Its already a 200 mph bike with 190 hp, now its got a turbo and like 126MORE HP. Of course the supra isnt going to win lol..

@TehBrizon Yea I know what you mean. I'm not a fan of the textile though... they never look right and i always feel like im making alot of noise with it. i just ride with my leather halfway open and it doesnt bother me to much

Video doesnt show much looks like the bike won then again maybe the Supra won.....but who knows...I thought street racing was wide open until someone shits there pants and lets off...lol

@929crotchrocket It's possible to get textile/mesh gear that is almost as protective... Not race-spec protection, but it's definitely worthy for a highway speed crash... Of course, you'll need to replace it after a crash, but it's cheaper and breathes better in the summer.
