@sirbuick These engines will pull 16,000+ RPM. Hyabusa engines are Small Compared to these, Well as far as Rod thicknesses go. So shit starts to blow up at them speeds.
-
@sirbuick these are the same yahmaha engines they used to use for the indy or formula 1 ( cant remember off hand which ) but they are just detuned with a computer program, but if you change that programming, they are capible of over 700 horsepower with no engine mods other then the accessery pullys and crank pully

@mojojojostwincam 16,000 is Hayabusa territory and damaging at that. If this motor does 16,000 RPM's it does so very briefly and only for youtube purposes and then it spends the rest of its days holding down paper.
-
@sirbuick actually these engines are capible of 16,000 rpm with very minor mod, computer programming and change the crank pull size so you dont blow up your accessories. so he was right ...
-
@Etnricer you said. "Bet you didnt know asshole that in 1989 the only 4 door luxury sedan was a BMW 5 serice that was over 50k." That's all I'm saying. And V6 motors dont pull 16,000 rpms. GSXR's barely pull 16,000.
-
@Etnricer Its not unheard of, the only reason ANY engine has a red line(REv limiter) is because the Accessories cant handle it, do some research bud. Then talk shit.
-
@sirbuick I know there where more 4 door luxury sedans. But there wern't any that went 0-60 in 6.4 seconds topped out at 143mph, and still had a price tag less than 25k. and a 1989 Mercedes Benz...Biggest slowest piece of shit ever made. Find me a naturally aspirated 3.0liter v6 Mercedes Benz from 89' that was faster than a SHO. Oh and No im not, you see anyone else agruing this fact. It was fords dealer training, they put the engine through hell and back, and your right it more around 17 or 18k
-
@Etnricer Hahaha ur so full of shit. 16,000 RPMs huh. BTW there were other 4 door luxury sedans in the worlds the BMW. Ever hear of Mercedes - Benz?
-
Aww btw you can email me at shokid89@gmail.com. what's good?
@okus Sounds like some one has never owned an SHO. Bet you didnt know asshole that in 1989 the only 4 door luxury sedan was a BMW 5 serice that was over 50k. Also bet you didnt know that if there was no revlimiter or accessories on this car it would redline at 16,000 RPMS.

I love the arguments about 20 year old technology. I had a '94 SHO and now own a '99 528, the sho was more raw and ahead of its time, the 528 more refined and solid better build qualty. I do miss the Ford though and want an '89 SHO.
